NewsToon of the Week (clik on toon to enlarge)

Intro
Welcome to Eden NewsToons, a unique editorial cartoon service.
My cartoons are edgy, my politics conservative,
my philosophy Christian. My opinions may come out controversial, even confrontational,
but always with love, honesty, good humor
and openness to debate.
I never seek to offend or disrespect anyone
but to provoke thought, discussion and a hunger for truth.

I’m from the Dallas area and a father of five.
I’ve been "tooning" for some 30 years. Mostly part-time, mostly local.
I’ve also worked as a muralist, billboard & sign painter,

rock drummer, singer-songwriter, pastor & children’s pastor.
Ultimately, I believe there is only one perfect, objective, unbiased observer and source of truth in the universe. So I try to contact Him daily. Yours for truth, justice & a Heavenly sense of humor,
Dave Eden

-------------------- Caricature Tributes------------------
These are cartoon caricatures Dave has drawn from time to time
as a tribute to fans & family, clients & celebs, friends & foes...

He was one of those special gifts that God gives to a town.
Like the movie Radio, Donnie was everyone's pal,
a hero and icon to the community of Wylie, TX,
especially the Wylie students. How he loved the kids!
He was a bundle of energy, helpfulness and team spirit.
A diehard Wylie Pirates fan, he embodied their cheer of AHMO! meaning: "Ahmo kick yer [butt]!"
You could find his happy face everywhere...
FFA, ROTC, at First Baptist Church,
at every baseball, basketball or football game
and any town project or event!
I guess I enjoyed hanging with Donnie now & then
because of his simple & chipper ways,
and maybe because he reminded me of my son Aaron.
Can't wait to see both their happy faces again someday.
